Beatmaker Manager · Season 1

365 days to make a name.

Produce. Sell. Place. Negotiate. Survive.

A management game where you live a beatmaker's career. A whole year, compressed into one evening.

Free · No account · In your browser, on phone or computer

3 hoursa day.

You can't do it all.

Plan your day. Whatever you take here, you don't do anywhere else.

And every week, rent. From $75 for a student room to $210 for a flat of your own: the more your place costs, the faster you grow.

Selling
isn't placing.

A sale leaves you the beat. A placement takes it from you, and that's why it counts.

Questions

New to the game? Read how to play and 15 tips for your first season.

What is Beatmaker Manager?
A free management game about a beatmaker's career. You start with $1,200 and 365 days, and every day you have three hours to cook beats, train, work the room, pitch artists and pay the rent. It plays like Football Manager or Game Dev Story, applied to making a name as a producer.
Is it free?
Yes. No account, no download, no ads and no in-app purchases. It runs in your browser.
Do I make music in it?
No. It is a game about the career, not a beat maker: the beats you cook are cards with a quality, a style and an age. The decisions are the job's own: what to work on, who to pitch, what to charge, what to sign.
How long is a game?
One season is one in-game year of 365 days, and it fits in an evening. Fast forward skips the quiet days. You can stop at any time and pick up where you left off.
Is it realistic?
It is compressed on purpose. In a real producer's year the bills are heavier, sales are far rarer, and a first placement can take years. The vocabulary and the situations come from the job; the pace is a game's.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes, on any recent phone, tablet or computer, in the browser. You can also add it to your home screen.
Where is my progress saved?
On your device. Nothing is sent anywhere. You can keep several profiles, and export or import a career as a file.
Is it available in French?
Yes. The game is in English and French, and you can switch at any time from the menu.
Who made it?
NormaProds, a beatmaker who produces for a living. The situations in the game come from the job.
What happens after the first season?
You can file it, or start Season 1+: the same year again, with the legacy the last one left you. Season 2 is in the works, and you can leave your email to hear the day it drops.
